Region III Monthly Luncheon

A message from Keri Orso, Region III Director

1. Please RSVP no later than Monday, October 8^th at 4:00 PM. I am ordering boxed lunches from Jimmy Johns and will not have extras.
2. Also, let me know whether you prefer sweet or unsweet tea.  I don’t want to have too many of one and not enough of the other.
3. The tour of the courthouse will start at 12:00.  We do have to go through security, so please plan accordingly.
4. Paralegals are allowed to bring their cell phones in, but please turn them off or on silent before entering the building. 

We will be taking a tour of the US Marshall’s area, including their holding area (which is where you will be if you don’t turn your phone off or on silent and/or show up late, she says with a smile), the clerk’s office, and the courtroom.  At Jeff’s request, I will have my laptop with me so that we can actually hook it up in the courtroom.

Jeff Reinert, Chief Deputy Clerk, will be giving the tour and Chuck Diard, Clerk, will be speaking to us at some point.  We will end the tour at the jurors room and have lunch. 

There is a $16.00 fee for members and $18.00 fee for non-members.
